GOSO 7 Pin Tubular Lock Pick Set comes with 3 pieces which emulates the three typical sizes that you see out there in the wild. Each pick is fully adjustable so you can do to any depth that you need. This is especially important because often times different manufacturers will use locks that are either deeper or more shallow depending on the machine.
The three sizes that this set comes with is 7.0mm, 7.5mm, and 7.8mm. We are able to pick most tubular locks within about 30 seconds. To put this tubular lock pick set to the test, we gave it to our friend Benny who has never picked a lock before. At first, he didn’t know what to do, he is pretty uncoordinated. After he figured that out, it only took him about 5 minutes to pick his first tubular lock. That goes to show us that these things are super effective.

Solid/durable construction but the quality of finish leaves a lot to be desired. 1. No drive pin/post in centre hole of pick tip. I guess that it is a friction fit over the tubular lock plug and that is used for turning? 2. Tips seem to be oversized on outside diameter and have not been chamfered of polished in any way. Quite hard if not impossible to insert in correct size lock. 3. Inside diameter of tip (hole in tip for lock plug post) is undersized and will need so boring out to fit correct lock size as etched on pick body. Also came quite dirty with quite a bit of grit/debris inside. As mentioned in 1 – no drive pin either. 4. Picking needles are very stiff in moving within their milled guide channels. Lots of grit/debris/burrs in the machined channels, you will need to clean and polish yourself to allow optimal use. 5. Arrived dry and very stiff. You will need to use a good quality spray lube that won’t affect the synthetic o-ring that tensions the picking needles. A little disappointing, maybe I got a bad set. If this is the quality of all sets, expect to do a little work yourself before using.

These tools are perfect, and work flawlessly. I use the 7.8mm the most, but I got the full set just in case I run into something smaller like 7.5 or 7.0. I recommend this to anyone looking for tubular picks.

I had several tubular locks on arcade machines to open, and I thought to try these lock picks as an alternative to drilling the locks. The lock picks worked for about four out of every five locks. These locks were old, so perhaps the difficult ones would not have opened even with the original key. Build quality seems good and, although I only used the 7.8mm pick, it stood up to a lot of wiggling and resetting to open those difficult locks.
